Elyse Salek

Elyse Salek, MSEd is the Administrative Manager of Research for the Center for Parent and Teen Communication. Elyse brings over 10 years of project management and research coordination experience to this position. She joined The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia in 2007 and was the Clinical Research Coordinator for a variety of projects including randomized controlled trials, chart reviews, and behavioral health research studies. Starting in 2013, Elyse became the Clinical Research Project Manager for the Division. In this capacity, she provided division faculty and fellows support related to grant and contract submissions, protocol and consent writing, manuscript and report development, regulatory submissions, study monitoring preparation, and overall project implementation support. Elyse has also worked closely with Dr. Ken Ginsburg since 2011 to support the development of strength-based interventions and programming that promotes the resilience and well-being of young people, including Native American and military-affiliated youth and the professionals that serve them. Previously, Elyse was a Program Assistant at The National Center for Learning Disabilities, a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of children and adults with learning and attention issues. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Middlebury College and her Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology and Human Development from The University of Pennsylvania.
