Jacques Louis, MS is the Technical Director of The Center for Parent and Teen Communication. He has worked in positive youth development settings for more than 18 years. Jacques currently serves as Partnership Director overseeing the implementation of a scalable in school Rites of Passage youth development model in select NYC public schools. In this role, his responsibilities include teacher professional development around cultural relevant competence, social justice, and LGBTQ themes. He brings years of experience in grant writing, grant management, program compliance, curriculum development, and systems implementation. Jacques holds a B.A. with concentrations in Afro-American Studies and International Relations from Brown University, and an M.S. in Education with specializations in Urban Education and in Educational Leadership for Independent Schools from Johns Hopkins University. Presently, Jacques is pursuing a doctorate in the Communication, Media, & Learning Technologies Design Program at Columbia University, Teacher’s College.
